Should I switch my iPad pro 9.7 256GB LTE and Macbook 12 512GB for a Macbook pro 15 with the touch bar??

You don't really need to switch, you actually own one of the best devices out there and you can expect your devices to receives updated for up to 5 years. You will not notice any difference when you switch to the new MacBook pro. I suggest watching Everything Apple Pro last video on Youtype where he gave his opinion about the device.
