One person is not receiving my texts

Upgraded to iphone 7 using my daughters upgrade. She is not receiving my texts. She has an iphone 6 and the message comes up as green not blue.Is there a way for me to change a setting so I can text my daughter?

Ask her whether she has turned iMessage on. That should solve the problem
