iPhone volume

I'm noticing recently that when I listen music with my  EarPods that I'm raising the volume much much more than usual, but the sound is not as high. For some songs I'd put my volume to maximum and it's still not loud enough. I'm clicking the volume + buttons 3 or 4 more times than I usually do with some songs. Is the problem with my EarPods (they are brand new), or that I'm using iOS 9, or that my hearing is just getting worse?

I don't have any such problems, and sometimes the earpods are actually very loud that I need to turn down the volume a bit. Maybe you're having hearing loss?

Maybe it could be the fact that I now have my iPhone synced with my MacBook and it used to be synced to my old Lenovo laptop
