Empty poke stops

So far all but one of the hundred or so Poke Stops I've seen have something called empty modules or something like that. What does that mean and is there something I can do or am supposed to do about that?

So far all but one of the hundred or so Poke Stops I've seen have something called empty modules or something like that. What does that mean and is there something I can do or am supposed to do about that?

The modules spots are for placing lures, lures attract more Pok?mon to that Pok?Stop for 30 minutes. If you have a lure module, you can click on the module portion of the Pok?Stop and select your lure module to place and activate it.
