how long does 51 percent last?

We are going on a trip and the ipad is charged 51 percent. How long will that last me on the six hour drive? How can you help me? I need to now now because i leave at six am tomorow morning.

Can't you plug into an outlet during the "six hour drive"? Can't you plug it in overnight before you go?
