How can I add subtitles or translations to my video on iPhone 5s?

I'm trying to prepare a bilingual video with added subtitles and translations to it. I need them to follow the picture (so if I've got a sentence that lasts few seconds I don't want to have it stuck on one caption/clip).
Can anyone help, offer any advice or recommend an app for it? Many thanks

have you tried iMovie?

Second on iMovie. Works really well. I personally don't know how to use it, but I saw my daughters doing wonders with it.
