Transferring data from old to new Iphone using Icloud

I have an Iphone 5S and just got a new Iphone 7. I am trying to backup the data from my old phone to the new one. I believe I completed a backup from my old phone to Icloud, but I can not find a command to restore the data to my new phone.

Why is there no restore option under settings-> backup. I need to restore on to my new phone since I already backed up from my old phone

When you FIRST activated your new iPhone, you should have been given an option to log in with your Apple ID and restore from the backup.

You need to first erase all the settings and content on iPhone, and then you can choose to restore from iCloud backup.
