I want to transfer data from my broken Apple iphone 6 which is saved on icloud to a new one i bought. however i accidentally clicked "Set up as new phone" instead of the "Set up from icloud" is there another way to transfer the data or maybe a way to reverse this?

Sure. Go to Settings → General → Reset, and then select "Erase All Contents and Settings".

Have you made iCloud backup? You can only restore your new iPhone from iCloud backup. If you have already set the new iPhone, then you can first erase all content and settings on iPhone and then choose to restore from iCloud backup. Or you can use third-party apps to help you transfer data to new iPhone.
