How to display Notifications by Subject NOT Date/Time on an iPhone5?

With a recent IOS upgrade, notifications are now being displayed individually by Date/Time, whereas previously they were displayed as a group by Subject, i.e., all mail was under MAIL, weather under WEATHER, etc., regardless of date/time received. The Subject-grouping is much preferred, especially for mass deletes at one time. How can a user reset the display from date/time to subject? Various directions reviewed direct the user to the Notifications View...Sort Manually...Edit. Neither the Sort or Edit options are seen/available for selection on my iPhone5. Therefore, how does one reset the Notification View to display notifications by subject rather than date/time?

That option isn't available any longer, which is very aggravating.
