I don't get more space storage even if i delete pictures

I

iMore Question

My icloud storage is full, and my storage space on the phone is also full.

I deleted 170 pictures from icloud and i deleted them from the phone, but the space is the same.

I don;t have anything in "Recently Deleted Photos" album. It's empty.

How can i delete pictures to get the space free?

Download a free app that is over a GB big. This will force your device to free up some cache from other apps.

But I have no idea how to free up space from your iCloud storage.

I don't remember where I've read this but it worked for me.
Trying it out is free, the app is free so there is no harm if it not works.

That doesn't work. If there isn't enough space for the larger app, it won't get downloaded.
You may be thinking of how iOS manages RAM.
You can use the battery apps you don't like. Such as Battery Doctor. It deletes cache from apps.

Nope, I'm thinking exactly what I'm talking about.

It's true that the app won't download but it triggers iOS to clear up storage from apps that have cached a lot like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and such.
