Clearing control screen

When I watch news video, listen to audio, etc .....name if video, stays on control screen, and arrows to play. How do I remove?

Typically, the controls disappear from the screen, but I suppose it depends on the app you're using. Do the controls stay visible when you maximize the screen?

If you close the app that you're playing your music through, the song will disappear from control center.
