    Does anyone know if apple is gonna release an update to fix home screens showing up darker ?

    Welcome to iMore! If you're referring to the dimmed background image I believe Apple does that by design. There's really nothing to "fix" because it's not a bug. I personally don't like it and wish Apple would change course. I find these awesome looking wallpapers and I'm always slightly disappointed when I put them on my homescreen.
