why does my phone have lines on it and why is it frozen

my phone has 3 thick lines on the right and side and two little lines aswell I reset the phone but they keep coming up. Also I cant do anything on my phone because my touchscreen has frozen.

From your vague description, I would say you have a bad digitizer/screen. AppleCare if you have it or call your insurance plan if you have that. If not, you can still take it in to an Apple store for evaluation.
