iPhone 6 WiFi Greyed Out

iMore Question

Hey, everyone
Anyway, I have a trip to Europe planned in a week and, since I don't think I have international data, I thought I could use my phone more of as an iPod, but recently it has had the problem where the WiFi is greyed out and is perms tangly switched off. I have tried restarting it, resetting it and virtually every trick in the book. Turning off WiFi Networking and the freezer trick both made the phone say WiFi was on, but it wouldn't connect and settings were frozen. It didn't work on iOS 9 and 10, so Im wondering if downgrading it would fix it. So, I was wondering if there is any way to fix it (should I just bring it to an Apple store or fix it shop, or is there still do it yourself hope?) or will I have to find something else to bring with me? Thanks!

If it were me, I'd make a Genius Bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store to have them diagnose and possibly fix the problem for you.
