After ios 10 update my alarm goes off but does not play the song I choose from my music liabrary.

It will play any other song in the library except for the song I chose. The song was legally downloaded from iTunes and plays in the music app and everywhere else. The alarm for some reason just uses a default ringtone (radar beep) instead. If I choose another song it works fine, I have reset the phone and done most all the obvious things I can think of. I chose and downloaded the song because the one I want to wake up to and have been using it for years until as alarm until ios 10

How is that song different from the other songs? Is it downloaded to offline? Is it your song, or an Apple Music song?
