Why does ios10 think I live in the U.K.?

I chose to disallow my location during the set up steps for ios10, thinking I could change this later for some apps. I live in North Carolina US, not North London UK!

You need to go into settings and at least define the time zone you're in...or just turn on location services for things like system services...
