Iphone 5S touch screen not working

Hi,
My Iphone 5S was switched off for 6 months. When I switched it on after 6 months, it started, but touch screen is not detecting any touch. So far I tried following -
- I updated iOS
- I drained battery and charged it again
What should I do?

How did you store your 5S? Did you leave the battery charged at 40~60% charge or empty?
Did you store it away from direct sunlight and in a dry space?

If yes to all above questions your device should work just fine.
My advice is to make a Genius Bar appointment with the nearest AppleStore and have them check the phone for you.
