I cannot insert photos in regular messages (not iMessage) using camera icon

I cannot insert photos using camera icon in regular messages (not iMessage) although I my MMS settings are ok. I can insert a photo via photos application as a workaround and it works fine but it's inconvenient. Is it a bug in new iOS (10.0.0 & 10.0.2 the same) or my settings need to be fixed?

I'm not aware of a bug like this. Try rebooting your device to see if that works. Press & hold the home & power buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears. Let us know what happens.
