how do you set up for siri time delayed reminders

i understand to bring up siri - ask her to remind me in 5 minutes for whatever - she says ok, i'll remind you... but then she never does - all of my co-workers get a reminder banner on time - I get nothing - any pre sets I'm supposed to change? I have a new 6s
