Apple ID know but not the password of person past away.

This lady at the retirement house ask me to help here with the iPad from her late husband. Apple ID know but not the password. I tried everything. Delete the iPad and put in 10x the wrong entry code to delete the iPad. This only works until you connect to the internet again, then the iPad starts to ask for the Apple ID and Password. Email account to reset password can not be accesed.

Anyone any suggestions?

Ask for the 'Overlijdingsverklaring' of the late husband and contact Apple Support on http://support.apple.com with that document.

They could be able to help you further.
