my iPhone 6 is suddenly refusing to send I receive iMessages?

My phone was working fine. Then my iCloud account was compromised and I had to change my password. Now my phone will send me and a couple of other contacts an iMessage but only green text messages to everyone else. Even th contact details are coming up as green. Please help!! I have tried everything ... updating, rebooting, turning off - everything!

1.Go to settings>message>iMessage on
2. Check under message>send& receive>Apple Id signed on?

In order to use iMessage, you must be signed into your Apple ID account. If Apple ID is compromised, use a new Apple ID or regain access to old one but reset the password. Hope that helps

Try to restore you iPhone and set it as a new phone
