Albums won't move from iTunes to iPhone 7 plus

I have a number of albums in my iTunes library that just won't copy to my iPhone 7 plus. I'm up to date with both iTunes and the phone.
What might keep them from copying? iTunes says it's copying and then the transfer process quits with no files moving to the phone.

On a Windows 10 PC you can copy 2 different ways
The most direct id through a USB cord, or through WiFi
Personally, i right click the album or song, & hit "add to device"
Somewhat foolproof; you can also "click & drag", to the device, but I prefer the former

Have you tried clicking the iPhone logo and selecting Music and check the Sync Music box and then syncing?

In addition, make sure those albums are physically available on your hard drive. Sometimes the actual files may be missing but still appear in iTunes.
