Are you running iOS 10 on your iPhone? If not, update your iPhone to iOS 10 first.

I don't what I'm doing wrong but I still only see 2.2.2.

My watch is at 65% charged and it's on the magnetic charger. My iPhone is running iOS 10.0.1. , charged at 55% and also charging.

Do I need to get rid of my iOS public beta profile in order to see the watch OS3 or is there something else?

The beta profile shouldn't have any effect, but go ahead and remove the beta profile, and then use the Watch app to check for the WatchOS 3 update.

Finally I was able to install watchOS 3 after deleting my Profile.
