I still am not receiving sms after removing imessage after the transfter to LG

Only some of my old iphone friends can msg me. Others can receive my texts but I'm not getting theirs.

Anyone who was iMessaging you via their iPad or iPod touch or other non phone device. That is an account with an email not a phone number will now not be able to message you. They get your messages because iMessage can handle incoming SMS from non iMessage sources, BUT your SMS client can not handle iMessage messages. However when your iPhone owning Contacts send with iMessage, the message gets converted to a standard SMS.
