why i cant connect my ipad in itunes i followed all the steps in google

i followed that u should connectthe ipad to laptop with itunes.hold the home to ipad dont release until the itunes instruction appear. and i choose restore and update it downloaded files but the screen appear that if i allow access to ipad please respond to your ipad,how can i do that its disabled.
