Scratches and weird white smudges on the back of my iPad pro

I'm not sure how the white smudges are getting there,there's one surrounding the apple logo, and there's one above the charge whole. Is it my fault that they are appearing? I feel like the charge hole one might be caused by the charger and or my Apple Pencil. I have a one year warranty with Apple will they be able to swap it or anything?

I doubt the smudges appeared on their own, but I can't say for certain. Do you have a case on it? What are you cleaning it with? If the smudges aren't interfering with how the device functions, Apple will be hesitant to replace it, in my opinion.
