iCloud Backup

My phone says last backup never. I tried to do a backup several times and it says it couldn't be completed. So I am not sure what to do.

I've seen that before. Be sure you have ample storage in iCloud for your back up size. Go to your photos app and delete the recently deleted album. It takes space. Try again to back up. If it doesn't work, try waiting until late at night or real early in the morning.
