how do i fix my ipod 5

well my ipod was charging and i started using it and i pulled down the notification center down and now its stuck half way down my screen and i can turn it off.. cuz i cant slide the off swtich to the other side of the screen..what do i do? my home buttin dose not work either so i cant reset it please help.

Normally you'd press Home and Sleep/Wake at the same time for 10 seconds to force the device to shut down. But if your home button does not work, maybe you could find a way to drain the battery to force a shutdown. Will the screen stay on? That would make it easy.

Welcome to iMore! Just as @michelfo said you're going to have to let your battery drain then plug your iPod into a charger and let it boot back up.
