Did factory reset on iPhone5. Now asking for passcode that I dont know.

After factory reset was complete, and the iPhone did the auto reboot and came back on, it made me swipe the screen and is now asking for a passcode. None of my passcodes are working. I am assuming that it is asking for a default passcode that was put in the phone when programmed? I don't know what that is. Please help.

What kind of reset did you exactly do, a complete wipe to set it up as a new phone?
Or just settings?

There's no "default" passcode. Are you the original owner of the device? If not, could this be a remnant of a previous owner?

Regardless, if this is the device passcode (and not the iCloud activation password), you only option is to wipe and restore the device with iTunes. Hopefully, your have a recent backup.
