after a software update my network settings have been deleted

my iphone 5 asked to do a software update. I clicked ok and after the update finished it asked me to set up my network again. I need the network name to begin

Okay. You will need to enter your network name. No one here knows that name.

Did you go into Settings - WIFI and see a list of available WIFI? Select the WIFI you use. Enter the password for the router if it is secure.

And if it is not secure it should be by the way.
