Can I sell an iPhone that I purchased through the upgrade program as long I keep paying the installments?

I'm gonna say no. It's a financed phone. Apple, via Citizens Bank has a lien on your phone and can recall it IF you default on the payments at anytime. So a buyer would be stuck with a locked non functioning phone if/when you defaulted on payments. Not saying you would, BUT since there is a chance of that, selling it would not be wise. Or buying from you would not be wise.


You MIGHT be able to sell it to a family member or close friend who thoroughly trusts you!
