    trying to move photos from iPad to mac and from mac to hard drive, i can't do it.

    Here is a guide I created to show you how to download your images from your iPad to your Mac. After they have downloaded, all you need to do is plug in your external drive, wait for it to appear, and then you can drag and drop them onto the external drive. Very simple to do.
