Why won`t my iphone 6 charge or show the charging icon?

My phone was totally fine sudden it just wouldn`t charge. i tried the toothpick thing still nothing. next day my charging icon wouldn`t show up either. I have no idea what`s going on.Please let me know if you know the reason.

I receommend that you make a genius bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store to have them diagnose and possibly fix the problem for you. As for what;s causing the problem, I do not know.
