    When I rotate my device to landscape mode, it does not bring up the canvas, it just rotates the chat screen to landscape mode.

    At some point you maybe defaulted to the keyboard. Try this button at the bottom:

    If you're referring to using the digital touch feature, did you not see the following message displayed on the screen while in landscape mode?

    "To use Digital Touch, rotate iPhone to portrait."

    Hi, I was referring to Handwriting, not Digital Touch.

    I'm assuming you're associating handwriting with "Scribble", and if so, it's basically the same as Digital Touch on the Watch. Anyway, you still need to be in portrait mode to use it.
