connection to icloud timed out

[iMore Question]

Each time I enter the apple ID password on my phone to pair with my apple watch it tells me the connection to icloud timed out or the connection to icloud failed.... I have tried resetting the network settings and it didnt work.... Any other recommendations?

What happens when you use Cellular Data when doing this?
Try resetting your router.
