confusion why text messages appeared on same unit i have iphone6s

i want to know how did it happened that my text messages appeared too in my husband's iphone6s? is it because my unit was under his email?

Yes. The Apple ID in the forum of an email address are the same on both devices, and that is why your messages appear on his phone.

You and your husband share the same iCloud account for iMessage and FaceTime.

You could either use a new account with your own credentials or simply uncheck his phone number in Settings > FaceTime and in Settings > Messages.

This will prevent you both from receiving each other's texts
