Can I find the source of a picture that's in my photo library?

I need some serious help. Like a lot of guys I look at porn, so what. But yesterday my wife asked to see my phone to practice air dropping with her new phone and she was in my pics and there was a picture of a naked girl in a pool that and I don't know how it got there. She thinks I'm having an affair or something along those lines but I'm totally not. It makes her look Ben more infuriated that I keep saying I don't know how it got there, I really don't know how this one pic of a naked girl is on my phone. And it's not a pic you'd redeive from someones camera that they took, it looks like a porn photo, actually quite tame. Just a girl in a pool with her top off. How can I find the source of the photo? And it's not in my history because I cleared it recently.

Welcome to iMore. Right off, I'd give a Google Image Search a try. If that image came from the web, a google image search should turn up a url for you.

1. Follow that link.
2. Click the camera icon in the search bar.
3. Upload the photo from your device.
4. Wait for results (hopefully finding some)
5. Prove to the missus that it's from the web and you're an innocent man.
