Why does my iPhone 5 not power on after replacing the battery?

I replaced my iPhone 5 battery and now it won't turn on. I tried rebooting it and that hasn't worked. The Apple logo or low battery animation doesn't appear either.

Simple answer ... you didn't replace it correctly. Or you damaged it during the replacement. Or something else was wrong with it to start with.

You probably should take it to a qualified repair shop. Or an Apple Store.
