    my i phone was charged with 100 percent battery..and overnight it drains by 30 percent..data connection was off....light was dim..no vibration..no ringtone...

    Hi, welcome to iMore. What model iPhone do you have? How long have you had it? Is Background Refresh enabled on your iPhone? What apps were running on the background?

    Did a lot of emails come in? Or notifications? Push notifications use a lot of battery. Also location services and screen brightness. Those are the big 3 battery eaters.

    With data being off, it's hard to say what caused it. I would give it a try again tonight, but before bed take a look at the battery panel in settings and note the percentages (maybe take a screen shot) and then see how they look in the a.m.
