Prompts to enter password for an obsolete email address on iPhone and mini. Can't download any apps

Each time I try to update an app or download one I get a prompt to enter a password for an old unused email address When I enter the old password it rejects it.
I went to my new email and changed the password but still can't sign in to Apple

Here is what you can do.
1. Go in Settings > iTunes & App Store and make sure you're logged in with your current working account. If you see your old account, tap on it, sign out and sign in with the correct account.

Now switch back to the App Store app, find which apps are requesting your old account password, remember them, press home button, find those apps, delete them and re download them with your current working account.

Most apps are cloud based so I figure you won't loose a lot of information by deleting and installing them.
