new phone has old id and wont let me update

ive bought a new phone and in the process of switching and updating phones i started up the new phone w the old id then up dated it on the old phone and now the new phone wont let me use the up dated info.. how do i fix this?

If I'm understanding your correctly, you set up your new iPhone with your old Apple ID, then updated your Apple ID on your old iPhone, and now your new iPhone won't let you use the updated information. Have you tried going to Settings > iCloud, signing out, and then signing back in with your new information? Are you getting an error message? Any additional detail you can provide would be helpful.
