How can I use my AT&T phone on a Verizon account?

I am a current AT&T customer interested in transferring my service to Verizon. I have two AT&T IPhone 5Cs that are in perfect condition. Can I convert these phones somehow to be used on Verizon's service or would I have to buy Verizon phones?

Not that I'm aware of, but I know you can use VZW iPhones (later models) on AT&T's network.

Verizon can use phones initially sold for use on other providers now - the link I posted above allows one to check the MEID and it will let you know if the device can be used on Verizon... some Android models and most iPhone5S and above should be able to be used on Verizon.
