How can I cancel an order that I didn't make?

I have just received an email about a purchase that I did not make. In an attempt to cancel the order by following a link I am asked to submit financial info. I don't think this is legit. I would like to speak with someone please. My ph # is [redacted]. Name Cynthia Spaeth Thank you.

I'm not sure what you'd like us to do but DO NOT give out any financial information. It's definitely a scam. You also might want to edit your post & remove your phone number.

Whatever entity is making the claim, call them and inquire. In addition, call your financial institution to see if there's an awaiting transaction from that entity and to have it reversed, if necessary.
