How to delete a map search that was sent to you by a contact?

So one of my contacts texted me an address and I click on it from iMessages and it took me to maps and now I can't delete it from there

This doesn't seem to work for those trying to delete map locations added from where contacts shared their location in iMessage. They do the clear all recents, but those from iMessage remain. It's one of the issues I'll ask Apple about next time I call Support.
