Apple TV Gen 3 buffering extremely when running Netflix, while Dish or Samsung SmartTV running Neflix do not buffer. What is the solution to prevent Apple TV from buffering. Could it require a firmware upgrade? The buffering occurs on two Apple TVs.

Are you using WI-Fi to connect to your ATV. If so that could be the problem. My ATV's are hardwired and I do not have that issue. Could also be slow download speeds with your ISP. Could also be Netflix is slow. My suggestion is to hardwire it if you are using Wi-Fi for you connection. Also make sure you are fully up to date on your firmware.
