How do I get my music back in "my music?"

My son and I share the same iTunes account. I wanted to remove an album from his iPod because he should not be able to listen to it. So I took it off "my music" on his iPod. I did not realize it would take it off "my music" on my iPhone. I can't get it back now.

When I go to iTunes and look under "purchased", it does not show the album I am looking for, but when I search the album as though I were going to purchase it, it says it is "purchased".

How do I get it back?

Do you mean you're sharing the same Apple ID? If so, you should have separate ID's. You can share the same iTunes ID, but iCloud, iMessage and Facetime ID's should be separate. If you sync the song back, he will also have it.
