How to get a photo from my camera roll into iCloud Drive, NOT iCloud library!

Ok, so I've got some photos in my notes, (reg notes app) how would I get that picture into iCloud Drive, NOT iCloud library, or how do I even do it with a photo from my camera roll to iCloud Drive? Right now, if I want to do either of the above I have to email myself the photos then save to iCloud Drive. HELP PLEASE!

Welcome to iMore! You can't do that. iCloud Drive is not like Dropbox or OneDrive. It's for documents you have in apps like Documents by Readdle. It's used for adding attachments to mail, along with other uses. But it's not for photos storage. iCloud is not a storage option. It's a back up option. It backs up what is currently on your device. If you put photos in iCloud, then delete them from the camera roll, they are also deleted from iCloud. If you want storage, use cloud based apps like Box and Dropbox. Or upload them to your computer.
