why is my iphone apps not updating

mesenger, whatsapp,facebook,yahoomail,are not updating i have working wifi, am also not able to download photos or attach photos on whatsapp.

Just because Wi-Fi is working, it doesn't mean you have Internet access. It also doesn't mean the services you mentioned are experiencing problems on their end. Anyway, restart your modem, router and iPhone, and then try again.
