    When I click on an email, I can see the images attached, but when I go to pull them up to save them it takes anywhere from 1-5 or more minutes for the image to pull up.

    Welcome to iMore! You don't explain how you are attempting to save photos from email to your camera roll.
    Long press on the photo> Tap "Save Image". That's it. Takes about 5 seconds or so.
