We have a desktop Mac, iPhones and iPads. Since we bought our most recent iPad the email is only saving a handful of emails. It will show new incoming emails briefly but then they are removed automatically

I don't have any idea why that's occurring, and I've NEVER experienced that behavior on ANY of my Apple products thus far. Is there a filter in place that sends them to your trash folder or that would cause email from certain recipients to be deleted?

Do each email show several lines? If so, maybe space has something to do with it. Also font size. These can be adjusted in Settings.
Go to Settings >Mail, Contacts and Calendar > scroll down to mail section> set lines as needed.
